Wherever people are interacting, it is inevitable that they will have differences.  In a healthy workplace, people can raise issues and disagreements and find solutions that improve performance and production.  Differences and disagreements are healthy:  digging into them helps us understand ideas and perspectives that can give us better solutions.

Susan Shearhouse, conflict resolution expert and author of Conflict 101: A Manager’s Guide to Resolving Problems So Everyone Can Get Back To Work, will discuss how to improve working relationships, create a safe place for thorny conversations, manage strong emotions, and provide collaborative problem-solving processes.
