Part of the Retail Monday Summer Series for existing small independent retailers and those who hope to open their own retail location. This series is co-sponsored by the Alexandria SBDC and Visit Alexandria. This seminar uses images of both local and non-local retail environments as a tool for examining retail store design strategies that work. It is for existing, expanding, or new retailers looking to optimize store performance. Many common and not-so-common retail design challenges are analyzed. Solutions aimed at increasing retail traffic, creating visual presence in various environments, and expressing not only a particular shopping experience but also the retailer’s brand, are presented.
